Tua Pek Kong Hokkien temple, Penang

The Tua Pek Kong temple or Hock Teik Cheng Sin Temple was built in the 19th century by the five major Hokkien clans (Khoo, Lim, Cheah, Yeoh and Tan) of Penang. It is one of the oldest temple in Penang.

The temple, also known as Poh Hock Seah is often refered as the Tua Pek Kong Temple, after its patron deity, the Taoist god of prosperity. The entrance to the temple is at 57 Lebuh Armenian.
